The no-score road version we play on long drives, and why the deck lives in the glovebox between trips.

The front passenger deals

In the car the deck belongs to the front passenger. They read, everyone answers, the driver keeps eyes on the road and shouts a guess. No cards change hands past the front row, nothing rolls under a seat.

Drop the score

We do not keep points on the road. The reveal is the payoff, and an hour of highway gives you more reveals than any scored game would. When someone nails a hard guess, that is the win, and the car hears about it until the next exit.

Why the box stays in the glovebox

The box is sized for a jacket pocket, which makes it glovebox furniture. It waits out the school runs and shows up for the long hauls. Between the tolls and the gas stops, a deck of two hundred thirty one questions outlasts most playlists.

One habit worth keeping: put the cards back in the box before the doors open. A deck that scatters at the rest stop comes home short.
