Keeping score without a fight
Chips, toothpicks, the fridge tally. Everything we know about counting points before somebody flips the table.
Pick a token, any token
The box does not ship with score pads and that is on purpose. Poker chips, toothpicks, dry beans, the caps off yesterday’s bottles: one right guess, one token. Counting objects beats trusting whoever grabbed the pencil.
Play to a number you can see
First to five tokens ends the night crisp. Play until the deck runs out and the last hour drags. If the table wants more after five, deal a rematch, do not stretch the match.
Ties are a feature
Two players hit five together? One final card, read by the person who lost hardest, and only the tied players guess. Sudden death by question is the best ending this game has, and we have seen a tie decided by what somebody would name a boat.
The reader never scores
On their own card, that is. The reader earns nothing for stumping the room, and this one line stops most fights before they start. Nobody gets to pick the weird answer purely to farm points, because there are no points in it.
